Hello My Name Is...
Mrs. Emerson

In Tulsa Public Schools, everything starts at the library. In my case, I started somewhere else but finally found my way here. I graduated from Bishop Kelley High School in 1986. I attended Phillips University to study Biology for two years before transferring to Oklahoma Baptist University, graduating with a degree in Political Science and Multilingual Communications. At the University of Tulsa I received my Masters degree in Education (Secondary) with a GTC area of emphasis. After teaching Spanish, it was on to the University of Oklahoma for Library and Information Science. I have worked in Oklahoma City and Tulsa Public Schools and in libraries at every level of K-12 education. I am happy to be at Daniel Webster High School in the library where I belong, and where everything starts.
