Course Descriptions

Introduction to Broadcasting

This course introduces the students to all aspects of the studio production environment, from content creation to distribution.

Advanced Broadcasting

This course provides students with the opportunity to study script writing for television and radio, practice broadcast performance/announcing, plan pre-production, and study broadcast reporting and management of programs and formats.

Broadcast Production

Customer service, marketing, project management techniques, and professionalism will be emphasized as students complete video-based projects for broadcast production. Students complete numerous projects that will be included in their portfolios as they acquire skills in advanced video editing and production.

Non-linear Digital Editing

Students will master real-time editing for professional video productions.
