City Year
Our Vision
At City Year, we believe that all students can succeed and that developing the skills and mindsets of children and young adults contributes to strong, vibrant communities - outcomes that benefit us all.
Our Work in Tulsa
City Year Americorps members serve in schools all day, every day, preparing students with the social, emotional and academic skills and mindsets necessary to succeed in school and in life. Students are more engaged and perform better academically when they feel connected to at least one adult at school. That is our role, to ensure that students have the relationships and resources to help them thrive in and out of school by uplifting the assets they already possess.
