ID Badges

  • Students must have their school ID badge with them at all times.
  • If you lose your ID, let a staff member know. Replacement IDs cost $5.
  • Your ID photo must clearly show your head and neck. No filters or edits.
  • Don’t cover your picture. If you don’t like your photo, ask for a new one.
  • If a staff member asks to see your ID, you must show it.
  • IDs help keep everyone safe. They show us who is a student, staff member, or visitor.

Clear Bag Policy

  • All bags must be clear. This includes any smaller bags inside your main bag.
  • Lunch bags, makeup bags, or any other type of bag must be see-through and will be checked before you enter school.
  • You’ll go through a contraband detector with your bag. Take out all metal and electronic items before walking through.
  • Students and visitors must only use clear bags. If your bag doesn’t follow this rule, you won’t be allowed in.
  • Oversized bags are not allowed.
  • Clear bags are also required at all TPS athletic events. No one can enter without one.

What You Can Wear

Tops

  • Wear a shirt with sleeves or straps—no strapless tops or dresses.
  • Shirts must not show your midriff (stomach) or be too low-cut.
  • No shirts with curse words, drugs, alcohol, weapons, or sexual messages.
  • From your armpits to your waistline should be covered.

Bottoms

  • Wear pants, shorts, or skirts that cover your underwear.
  • No sagging. If you need a belt, ask—we’re happy to help!
  • Bottoms must reach at least mid-thigh. This includes rips or holes—no holes above the thigh.
  • No pajamas unless it's a pajama day. Joggers or sweatpants should not have large prints or designs unless it’s a small logo.
  • If something looks like pajamas, you may be asked to change. If unsure, ask before wearing it.

Accessories

To keep everyone safe, the following are not allowed:

  • No bandanas (even as headbands).
  • No items that look like weapons or parts of weapons.
  • Hats and hoods must not cover your face. Cowboy hats are not allowed.
  • Ball caps must face forward. Hoodies must stay down indoors.
  • Blankets are not allowed inside school. If you're cold, ask for a hoodie or jacket.
  • No house shoes or slippers. Wear school-appropriate shoes like slides, sneakers, Crocs, or dress shoes.
  • If your outfit doesn’t follow the dress code, you’ll be asked to change when you arrive.

Bags for Athletes

  • Athletes must follow the dress code for their sport, especially on home game days.
  • Coaches will provide specific dress guidelines.
